Shipping & Order Support
We ship extrait de parfum (concentrated, alcohol-based fragrance in glass bottles) to over 40 countries. This requires specialist packaging, Dangerous Goods declarations, and carriers licensed to handle flammable goods internationally.
Delivery timelines
| Region | Standard | Express |
|---|---|---|
| France | 2-4 business days | 1-2 business days |
| EU | 3-7 business days | 2-4 business days |
| UK, Switzerland, Norway | 5-10 business days | 3-5 business days |
| USA, Canada | 7-21 business days | 4-7 business days |
| Rest of World | 10-21 business days | 5-10 business days |
These are estimates. They exclude customs processing, which varies by country. During peak periods (November through January), add 3-7 business days.
Why perfume shipping is different
Perfume is classified as a Dangerous Good (UN 1266, Class 3 Flammable Liquid). In practice, this means:
- Some major postal services refuse alcohol-based fragrances entirely
- Each shipment needs a Dangerous Goods declaration
- Packaging must meet IATA/ADR standards for glass bottles with flammable liquids
- Customs clearance sometimes requires extra documentation
- Certain routes are unavailable during certain periods
We deal with all of this before the parcel leaves. Declarations, carrier selection, packaging compliance.
Tracking
All orders ship with tracking. You get a tracking number by email once the parcel leaves our logistics partner. If you have not received tracking within 5 business days, write to support@pramierepeau.com and we will look into it.
Signature required
All shipments require a signature on delivery. This confirms your parcel reached you and creates a documented record.
Customs and import duties
Import duties or taxes may apply depending on your country. These are determined by your local customs authority. We declare all shipments accurately and at full value.
If something goes wrong
Contact us. We monitor shipments proactively and can often resolve carrier issues before you notice them. When a parcel is lost or arrives damaged, we reship at our expense. See How We Handle Concerns for the full process.
Why we take shipping seriously
At Premiere Peau, the client experience does not stop at checkout. Pierre Mergui, founder and creative director, treats the parcel as part of the product. Packed, documented, tracked with the same precision as the fragrance itself. International order support at Premiere Peau means responsible order handling, Dangerous Goods compliance, and traceable communication at each stage.
